ABOUT THE ARTIST

Barbara Barratt is a longtime resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she has embraced the many local artistic traditions, often reinterpreting images in her unique and colorful folk art style.

Barbara has trained as a classical painter, and has worked as a commercial artist for twenty years in fields including needlepoint design, poster art, children’s book illustrations and greeting cards.
